Vilija's Wedding

Our dear cousin Vilija was getting married in France, so in true Virskai style, we all got on a plane to Paris for the big day!

For all the rest, continue below!

The civil ceremony in France is compulsory so at 11:30 we were expected at the town hall.

A trademark of this wedding, Lidija and her fiancee, Mike, with their cameras never letting a moment slip by!

All the Virskai and the Grazuliai with a nice French boy in the middle. He's part Lithuanian now!

Putting on the wedding dress for the church ceremony at 3:30.

Dad and Vilija on their way to the church.

The "parents" of the bride, my Mom and Dad were standing in.

Some of the many, many, little French cousins...

We threw rose petals for the happy couple.

Very pretty

Uncle Mark, Aunt Audra, Mom and Dad

Vilija and her friends from Chicago.

All the cousins

Dad and Matthieu's grandfather with one of the MANY glasses of champagne served that day!

My Mom (or maybe it was my Dad) got a nice pic of me and Kate in the dinner tent.

Dad, me and Aunt Audra waiting to do the traditional Lithuanian bread, salt and wine ceremony.

Late in the night, after we'd been sufficiently filled with wine, all the Lithuanian girls got up to sing to Vilija and Matthieu.
