Life Outside

It's August, and we finally have weather for hanging out, outside. And I couldn't be happier!

September 2nd was Lina's birthday party! She invited us all out to the lake.

Another beautiful pic of Aurelija and Greg. But what's that halo around Aurelija's head? I knew she was nice, but an angel? We'll have to check with Greg about that!

Chris you did it! You have your picture taken and you don't look drunk, high, or just plain stupid! Good job!

I made her a birthday cake of course! Chocolate, with amaretto butter frosting and blackberries!

We were planning kayaking the week before, but this is as close to boats as we got.

Then we went to another resort called Apple Island www.appleisland.lt We were impressed, it was so beautiful there!

Egle and Daiva infront of one of the little cabins. And this place is so cheap!

Mirka invited us all out to his sailboat. It was a great evening on the lake in Trakai!

Here I am! I had my whole outfit ready to go, camp pullover and visor!

You can just see Trakai Castel peaking up over the trees.

It was shooting pink out all over the lake!

The weekend before, I went camping with Monika and Daiva and their friends.

Arrival at the lake...

It was my frist time to the lake this summer, and I had to blow up my air mattress!

As dusk settled in, so did a light fog over the lake. It was really breathtaking.

The next morning, the light was beautiful!

We sent the kid out for mushrooms. She did good! (Yes those ARE edible... they are Baravikiai!)

The sun came out, and so did the bikinis!

And the leopard sheets!

Cheese! Come on Daiva, let's go swimming!

Swim girls, swim!

Twenty-four hours later, and now I'm deflating my air mattress already! It was a great weekend!
