Road Trip with Malin and Anders

Since I've driven across the country dozens of times now alone, this time I thought it would be fun to invite along a couple of my favorite Swedes to come with me. Malin and Anders drove with me from Colorado, all the way to New York with a two week stop in Michigan. Whew!

In Michigan, Malin and Anders got to experience life at the Virskus house: Sunday Bar-B-Q's, mowing the lawn and whatever else there is to do on a nice spring day in the Mid-west.

We went to the farm to check on the horses.

Anders feeds Jay and Pony a little treat.

Megs came out to hang with us.

Up north we went to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Boey flew in from Chicago to hang with us.

It's SO beautiful here! That's Lake Michigan at it's best.

Malin and I ran the Dexter-Ann Arbor Half-Marathon.

At the finish... we came in right on target, despite HUGE blisters on my feet! I'm smiling here to forget the pain!

While in New Jersey, we did a little sightseeing along the Delaware River with my cousin Steven and came across this little farm.

Thanks to Malin and Anders, I have my only picture of me working with Carlo.

Not a bad way to end a trip. Listening to the New York Symphony Orchestra play Puccini's La Trattoria with my dear friend Christian.
