My birthday and Kate's trip to Lithuania
My cousin Kate flew to Vilnius this summer just in time to celebrate my birthday!

On Friday, my friend Liana took Katie on a sightseeing walk all over Vilnius, and did a photo session too!

After work, we went on a little road trip to Kernave.

After a long night out watching football (soccer) on Friday night, we got up early to drive to Siauliai.

Later that night in Kaunas, after France beat Brazil in the quarter-final, we went out with our cousin Tomas and his girlfriend Aige to the greatest club in Kaunas, Cepilinas. Yea, like the food.
Ok, it's not the greatest club, but it's the only one I've ever been to and we did have a great time!
Sunday morning in Kaunas, we went to see Grandpa's house, and take the funniest picture I've ever been a part of. What were we THINKING with this pose???????????

Monday evening, we went to Tores to have dessert and watch the sunset. Then we went down to Pilies g. for a second round. Katie liked it so much she licked her plate... twice!
Tuesday night back at In Vino for one more game of football! Kate with her new best friend, Aidas (who also happens to be the editor in chief of FHM and the man who convinced Kate she's a libertarian).
Last picture... Kate with another cute young Lithuanian-American... she didn't do bad this week! No wonder she wants to come back!
